Brother Knights are needed in the St. Timothy School kitchen on Saturday at 1 pm to assist Past Grand Knight Mark Zahuranek in making chili that we we start selling immediately before the 5:30 p.m. Vigil Mass.
When the chili is ready in the big pots around mid-afternoon and has some time to cool down, help will be needed to scoop it into a couple of hundred one-quart plastic containers.
Sales will resume immediately after the Mass and end about 15 minutes later.
Containers are priced at $10 for one, $20 for two and $25 for three.
Credit cards will be accepted in the parish courtyard.
If you attend the Saturday Mass, please consider taking a few minutes to help staff the six outer doors to the church or at least purchase one or more containers.
Sunday morning sales will begin about 15 minutes before the 7:30 a.m. Mass and resume around 8:15 when the early Mass ends.
Another sales rush is expected around 8:45 as people begin arriving for the 9 a.m. Mass.
Sales will continue after 9 a.m. Mass as well as before and after the 10:45 a.m. Mass.
In the past, we have sold out just before the 12:30 p.m. Mass, but that’s dependent on the weather and the quantity of chili that is made.
If there’s some chili still left, we will continue sales after the 12:45 Mass ends.
