I. The meeting was gaveled to order by Grand Knight Anthony Estrada at 7:30 pm.
II. The Warden vouched that all present were current members.
III. The opening prayer was recited.

IX. GRAND KNIGHT’S REPORT
1. The Grand Knight’s Report – “This past Sunday we had our coffee and donuts and went well. Everyone had smiles on
their faces and fun interacting with each other. From what I heard, we just had enough donuts for the last person in
line to grab one. Now, I’m thinking we up the donuts to 40 or 42 dozen going forward to make sure we have enough if we
have 10 or 15 more people. The upcoming events/functions we have are Parish Breakfast on the 17th of September in the
cafeteria after the morning masses (7:30, 9:00, and 10:45), help setting up or serving is appreciated as we will start early
around 6:30 in the kitchen. On the third Tuesday we will hold a planning meeting in the conference room. Wednesday 27th,
September 2023 is our Fraternal Benefits Night with Bill Lupinacci in the large conference room. Starting time is
7:30 p.m. I will reach out to Bill again to make sure he got my email and confirm. That concludes my report.” – Grand

1. Vocations – 5 new seminarians taken in; pray for more new ones.

2. Christmas Trees – Believed to have ordered 268 for this year.
XIII. OLD BUSINESS
1. FOCUS – Last Month, a proposal for 300$ donation to FOCUS; Vote on it. 4 opposed, 15 in favor; motion passes.
XIV. NEW BUSINESS
Motion: We should engage in sponsorship of the St. Timothy Charity Golf Tournament; half of the proceeds go to St. Timothy School and the other half to St. Vincent de Paul Food Pantry. Motion to create donation request for $2000. Defer action to next month.

Upon a vote, the motion was Carried.
Motion: We donate 2,000 dollars to the clergy. Motion deferred to next month.

Motion: That Dennis Stone, Brian Tumulty, and Dominic Schaad be appointed to determine the new council website. To
issue report and vote no later than the October meeting.

XV. REPORT OF THE FOURTH DEGREE
1. Initiation – 4th degree initiation happened a few weeks ago; Giovanni Aderno came to help out. The next one is down in Newport News on September 30th.
XVI. FIELD AGENT’S REPORT
1. N/A – None.
XVII. DISTRICT DEPUTY’S REPORT
1. Letter – Reminiscing about past food poisoning and other errata; Get interaction between council leaders. Good job using
available resources to recruit etc. Upcoming “Virtual Town Hall”; pay attention.
XVIII. GOOD OF THE ORDER
The Grand Knight asked if any brother present knew of a member of the council, or an unassisted brother of the Order, sick or in
distress. The following names were put forward and the council joined in a prayer for their well-being:
Knight’s Wife’s Mother is in hospital;
Knight’s recovery from food poisoning;
Prayer for Knight and family; Knight’s grandfather passed away the prior day;
Prayer of thanksgiving for daughter of Knight’s recovery, prayers have been answered;
Continued prayers for a specific person;
Prayer for the sister of Knight who has stage 4 lung cancer;
2 different people.
XIX. The closing prayer was said by all.
XX. Grand Knight Anthony Estrada declared the meeting adjourned at 8:38 pm.
